Celebrity Lifestyle Designer
The Tides Hotel in Miami's South Beach district has been successfully renovated by Los Angeles' kitsch, hip Interior Designer, Kelly Wearstler.

She is known for taking “kitschy” items from the 50's that you or I would probably discard, and transforming them into fun, chic Interiors.
She crafts her distinctive designs by adding lots of gold gilt, natural materials, and chunky crystals...
creating a look that has become her signature.
The giant tortoise shells in the dining room (hanging on the wall) are all fake-resin. I appreciate the fact that she took the time to reproduce this exquisite results. They look fantastic.
It probably feels like a surreal Dali like fantasy staying there…right on the beach!
